KLIMOVICHI, 16 November (BelTA) - Belarusians are eager to buy Gucci, Versace and other bizarre stuff but we must support home-grown brands, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he honored farmers during the regional Dazhynki 2024 harvest festival in the town of Klimovichi on 16 November, BelTA has learned.
"People tend to opt for natural fabrics. Except for Belarusians. Belarusians are eager to buy Gucci, Versace and other bizarre things but we must support local brands, home-made fabrics. We produce everything. Choose local and teach children to do this," Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed, speaking about high-quality and organic Belarusian products.
