MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the law on Belarus’ accession to the Charter of the International Civil Defense Organization, the president’s press service told BelTA.
The document has been prepared for the sake of elevating Belarus’ status as a full member of this international organization, for enabling conditions for advancing beneficial cooperation with emergency response and rescue agencies of countries of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East by means of promoting the export of firefighting and rescue vehicles, equipment, and special protective clothes, by providing education services, and by training specialists.
