MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – On 18 March Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 99 to honor deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic with state awards for their effective state and public work, significant personal contribution to law-making and parliamentarism, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko was awarded the Order of the Fatherland 1st Class. Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives Aleksandr Markevich was awarded the Order of Honor.
The Medal for Labor Merits was conferred on Deputy Chair of the Standing Commission on Housing Policy and Construction of the House of Representatives Oksana Gaiduk, member of the Standing Commission on Environment, Natural Resources and Chernobyl Catastrophe of the House of Representatives Tamara Dolgoshei, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic, Director of Minsk Gymnasium No. 13 Marina Ilyina, Deputy Chair of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives Yelena Kolesneva.
The Medal for Labor Merits was also conferred on Chairman of the Standing Commission on Industry, Energy and Fuel Complex, Transport and Communications of the House of Representatives Igor Komarovsky, Chair of the Standing Commission on Labor and Social Affairs of the House of Representatives Lyudmila Kononovich, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Igor Lapsha, Deputy Chair of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media of the House of Representatives Valentina Razhanets, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic Sergei Rachkov and Chair of the Standing Committee for Economy, Budget and Finances of the Council of the Republic Tatiana Runets.
Deputy Chair of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and Mass Media of the House of Representatives Liliya Ananich, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Environment, Natural Resources and Chernobyl Catastrophe of the House of Representatives Nikolai Vasilkov, Head of the Department for Laws and Interaction with the Standing Commission on State Building, Local Government and Regulations of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Tatiana Korzun and Chair of the Standing Commission on Budget and Finance of the House of Representatives Lyudmila Nizhevich were awarded the Medal for Impeccable Service 3rd Class.
The decree also awarded honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus. Chairman of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives Igor Marzalyuk was awarded the Honored Worker of Education of Belarus title. Chair of the Standing Commission on Health, Physical Culture, Family and Youth Policy of the House of Representatives Lyudmila Makarina-Kibak was awarded the Honored Doctor of Belarus title, and Chairman of the Standing Commission on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Rusy was awarded the Honored Worker of Agriculture of Belarus title.
