Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Kenya

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The Republic of Kenya demonstrates obvious achievements in its development and enjoys deserved attention of the international community,” the head of state remarked. “Traditionally friendly and mutually respectful relations create a good foundation for the full utilization of the bilateral cooperation potential between our countries.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that closer cooperation in trade, the manufacturing sector, agriculture, education as well as the implementation of joint projects in other industries of mutual interest will help enhance bilateral ties.

The president wished the Kenyan leader good health and fulfillment of all plans. He also wished Kenyan people peace and accord.
