MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – A telephone conversation between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin took place on the evening of 21 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
During the call, the two leaders focused on trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the implementation of joint mutually beneficial projects. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to quickly put into practice the agreements reached at the February meeting of the Union State Supreme State Council.
The presidents also discussed the most pressing international issues and the regional situation.
