Lukashenko makes decisions concerning diplomatic corps

MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved a series of diplomatic appointments, BelTA has learned.

Dmitry Derevinsky has been appointed Belarus’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Colombia, the Republic of Panama, and the Republic of Ecuador, with concurrent accreditation. He will also continue in his role as Belarus’ Ambassador to Venezuela.

Dmitry Krasovsky has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Uganda, adding to his existing post as head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Kenya. His responsibilities also include serving as Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the African Union, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).

Aleksandr Sidoruk has received presidential consent for his appointment as Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
