MOSCOW, 13 March (BelTA) – It is a great honor for Belarusians to take part in the anniversary Victory Parade on Red Square on 9 May, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said following official talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, BelTA has learned.
“Our countries have many joint plans and projects for this year. Of course, the most important of them is the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. It is a great honor for us, Belarusians, to take part in the anniversary Victory Parade on Red Square in Moscow on 9 May 2025,” the head of state said.
“We remember and honor the heroism of the Soviet people, our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The main thing today is to act in a way that will make them proud of us, to prevent the rehabilitation of Nazism and the rewriting of history,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
