MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed condolences to the family and friends of People’s Artist of the USSR Yuri Solomin, BelTA has learned from the press service of the head of state.
"An outstanding actor and director, a person with an active civic position, who stayed faithful to his ideals, has passed away. Yuri Mefodievich [Solomin] reached true professional heights. His multifaceted talent was embodied in many wonderful, truly stellar roles that conquered millions of hearts. We will always hold fond memories of Yuri Mefodievich in our hearts," the message said.
