MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko commented on Kiev’s attack on Kursk Oblast in an interview with the Rossiya TV channel, BelTA has learned.
"I agree with Putin when he said that there is a struggle to raise the stakes, to win a stronger position if there are negotiations. This is what the West says, that Ukraine dreams about. But another question arises: in such a situation who will want to negotiate with him?" the head of state said.
"Therefore, raising the stakes, taking a more favorable position at the negotiating table in such a way is wrong, this is not the way. This is a classic, but it is not way in the fight against the huge empire that has definitely not yet begun to fight. Definitely," Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
