MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as President of the United Arab Emirates, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I believe that your extensive experience as a statesman and sincere devotion to the Motherland will contribute to the further successful development of the United Arab Emirates and the prosperity of the friendly Emirati people. You are known as a true friend of Belarus, who has made a significant personal contribution to building trust-based relations between our countries over the past three decades,” the message reads.
“I am convinced that through joint efforts we will fulfill the significant potential of bilateral cooperation, especially in such areas as trade, investment, loans and finance, science and technology,” the Belarusian head of state said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan good health, happiness and success in his political activities, and well-being and peace to the people of the UAE.
