MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended congratulations to Nicaraguan Co‑President José Daniel Ortega Saavedra on his 80th birthday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Your long-standing service to the Nicaraguan people deserves wide recognition. It is difficult to overestimate your personal contribution to building a strong and socially just state,” the message of congratulations reads.
The president reaffirmed Belarus’ unwavering commitment to furthering bilateral relations with Nicaragua in a spirit of partnership and mutual trust. “I am convinced that through joint efforts we will be able to fully realize the potential of Belarus-Nicaragua cooperation in politics, trade, economy, science, education, and culture,” he emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished José Daniel Ortega Saavedra good health and continued success in his responsible state position.
