MINSK, 1 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the staff of the closed joint-stock company (ZAO) Stolichnoye Televideniye on the 25th anniversary since the day the television channel STV started broadcasting, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The head of state noted that thanks to popular projects and journalistic skill over the past quarter of the century STV has gained popularity outside the capital region and has become an integral part of the national mass media space.
“Your programs shape a recognizable image of the sovereign Belarusian state and help viewers always stay up to date with events in the country and the world,” the congratulatory message reads. “It is largely the result of the creativity of the professionals in their line of work, their dedication to the Motherland and to traditions of the domestic mass media.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the staff of ZAO Stolichnoye Televideniye to reach new heights of the television industry, to come up with bright ideas, and to have inexhaustible inspiration for many years to come.
