MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Belarus' women's national team on their victory at the 20th EuroHockey Indoor Nations Championship which was held at the Palace of Sports on Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Throughout the championship, where you faced world-class athletes, you displayed excellent sportsmanship, strong willpower, indomitable team spirit and aspiration for victory. May your success serve as an illustrious example for other Belarusian athletes,” reads the message of greetings.
The Belarusian president also expressed his gratitude to the coaching staff and all those who contributed to Belarus' women's national team lifting the European champion's trophy.
