MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated member of the national sambo team Aliaksandr Koksha on the stunning performance at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I congratulate you on the excellent performance at the 2nd European Games 2019 which confirmed the high class of Belarusian sambo athletes. You have imposed the highest tempo on your opponent in the finals and thus left him no chance. This is the trademark of the master,” the message said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that Belarus is proud of the athlete. He also thanked the whole team for the character, will and determination to win.
