MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave his approval to new appointments in the ministries of economy, education and housing and utilities, BelTA has learned.
Andrei Kartun, who until now worked as Deputy Economy Minister, has been approved for the post of First Deputy Economy Minister. Maria Mazhinskaya, who previously worked as the chief adviser of the regional policy department of the Belarus President Administration, has been approved for this post.
Yekaterina Petrutskaya, who headed the Minsk City Pedagogical College, has been appointed Deputy Education Minister in charge of educational and ideological work.
Andrei Beket has been named new First Deputy Housing and Utilities Minister. Previously, he was the general director of the municipal unitary enterprise "Housing and Public Utilities of Minsk District".
The president appointed Dmitry Zakharov, who until now worked as the First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee for Mogilev Oblast, as Director of the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee.
