MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) - Belarus stands for the development of a common space of trust between the West and the global majority, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the 2nd Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security on 31 October, BelTA has learned.
Today it is obvious for everyone that security cannot be maintained only on one continent, the head of state said. “We are in favor of a common space of trust and cooperation between the West, left in a minority, and the global majority,” the Belarusian leader stressed. “This is needed to unite the countries not against anyone but in the name of a common goal to avoid a fatal civilizational rift. This is needed to resume a truly equal, mutually respectful and responsible dialogue.”
