BEIJING, 2 September (BelTA) – Belarus supports the initiatives put forward by China’s leadership from the standpoint of a unified worldview policy, Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov told BelTA.
As it was previously reported, at the SCO Plus meeting held in Tianjin on 1 September, President Xi Jinping of China proposed an initiative on global governance. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed Belarus’ support for this initiative.
“Everything that China initiates is of interest to us. And global governance is, in principle, a continuation of our unified worldview position on the structure of the world. It is natural that the president supported it. His first speech, which was quite emotional, vivid, and heartfelt, shows that we support this not just formally within the SCO, but also from the perspective of our unified worldview approach to world order and cooperation among countries in joint global development,” he said.
