MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik has met with the recently appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Russian Federation Sami Alsadhan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
Heads of the diplomatic missions emphasized the eagerness to continue advancing the dialogue in politics, economy, trade, investments, science, and culture. The parties also discussed the schedule of forthcoming contacts between Minsk and Riyadh.
Sami Alsadhan expressed interest in developing relations with Belarus in trade and investments as well as interest in implementing mutually beneficial projects. In his opinion, the exchange of delegations of business circles of Belarus and Saudi Arabia is also quite important. The Saudi diplomat also underlined the important role played by diplomacy and tourism in promoting interpersonal contacts between the two countries and nations.
