BISHKEK, 26 November (BelTA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his intention to discuss Union State security and the pursuit of a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict during a meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 26 November. He made these remarks at the beginning of his talks with the Belarusian leader, BelTA has learned.
According to Vladimir Putin, ensuring the security of the Union State will be a key topic of conversation, noting that both leaders “have much to discuss.” He referenced a recent telephone conversation in which Aleksandr Lukashenko had briefed him on current relations with neighboring countries.
