BISHKEK, 26 November (BelTA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko discussed the Union State security and the pursuit of a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict during a meeting on 26 November, BelTA has learned.
According to Vladimir Putin, ensuring the security of the Union State will be a key topic of conversation, noting that both leaders “have much to discuss.” He referenced a recent telephone conversation in which Aleksandr Lukashenko had briefed him on current relations with neighboring countries.
