MOSCOW, 16 October (BelTA) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will lead a Russian delegation at the international conference on Eurasian security, which will be held in Minsk on 31 October - 1 November, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing for the press in Moscow on 16 October, BelTA learned.
"Minsk will play host to the second international conference on Eurasian security will be held in Minsk on 31 October -1 November. The Russian delegation will be led by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry," Maria Zakharova said.
According to her, in his speech at the plenary session of the conference, Sergei Lavrov will touch upon the initiative put forward by the Russian president on the formation of an architecture of equal and indivisible security in Eurasia and will set out Russia's assessments of the current state of affairs in the field of continental security.
