MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei had a phone conversation with Member of the Swiss Federal Council, Head of Switzerland's Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Ignazio Cassis on 22 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the current agenda of the bilateral cooperation and ways to advance a constructive dialogue between Belarus and Switzerland,” the press service noted.
Vladimir Makei noted that sanctions are pointless and destructive as an instrument of foreign policy in today's interdependent world. The parties reaffirmed great potential of full and pragmatic cooperation between the two countries.
