MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus has issued a statement regarding the Taiwan situation, BelTA has learned.
“The Republic of Belarus is closely monitoring the developments concerning the island of Taiwan. We support all efforts by the Chinese government to achieve national reunification, protect sovereignty, and territorial integrity,” the document states.
“No state has the right to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries or exert pressure, including through political, financial, military, or other support,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.
“Such actions lead to an escalation of tension, destabilize the situation, and disrupt the balance in the Asia-Pacific region, ultimately undermining the foundations of international security,” the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus reads.
