Belarusian delegation visiting Venezuela

MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko is in Venezuela on an official visit, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.

On 10 January Igor Lyashenko attended the inauguration ceremony of Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro. The same day Igor Lyashenko met with Nicolas Maduro to offer congratulations to the Venezuelan head of state on assuming the office.

In Caracas Igor Lyashenko also met with Venezuelan Vice President for Planning Ricardo Menendez, who is also the chairman of the Venezuelan part of the Belarus-Venezuela commission on trade and economic cooperation.
