MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Türkiye Anatoly Glaz met with Chairman of Türkiye’s Supreme Election Council Ahmet Yener on 12 January, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Ankara.
The parties took stock of the visit of the Turkish electoral authority’s delegation to Belarus in October 2025, during which a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Belarus’ Central Election Commission and Türkiye’s Supreme Election Council. They also reviewed the progress in implementing the agreements previously reached.
The parties noted the high level of professional interaction between the electoral bodies of the two countries. They discussed priority areas for further interagency cooperation, including the exchange of experience in conducting electoral campaigns, as well as prospects for joint events.
