MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) – Valery Voronetsky, Chairman of the International Affairs Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, will take part in the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum on 25-26 November. The forum will touch upon international security among other things, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The agenda of the forum includes matters of geopolitics, European integration, the role of the European Union, ensuring international security, and preventing a new arms race. “The forum will focus on the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership. The agenda also includes a panel discussion on the future of the Eastern Neighborhood after 2020. Valery Voronetsky will take part in the discussion,” the press service noted.
The Berlin Foreign Policy Forum is organized by Germany's Koerber Foundation. This is one of the most prestigious and respected conferences in this field. It usually brings together around 250 high-ranking politicians, state officials, diplomats, experts, and journalists. The forum has been held in Berlin since 2011.
