MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lukashevich met with Governor of Nigeria's Katsina State Dikko Umar Radda, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties conducted a detailed review of the current state and prospects of Belarusian-Nigerian cooperation in key areas, primarily in economy and education. Following the discussions, the first deputy minister and the governor outlined concrete steps for further enhancing cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the successful implementation of joint projects in Nigeria's agricultural sector.
A separate item on the agenda was the discussion of plans to deepen Belarusian-Nigerian interregional cooperation.
