MINSK, 13 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze on 13 October, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
The Georgian prime minister received a congratulatory message from Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on the occasion of the successful completion of elections to municipal self-government bodies.
The parties discussed the invigoration of trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation. Close attention was paid to preparations for the seventh session of the Belarus-Georgia intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
