MINSK, 14 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas who is in Belarus on a working visit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties exchanged opinions on the current situation in the international and national security, supported the development and strengthening of cooperation of the CSTO with other international organizations, first of all the UN. The parties also discussed promising cooperation areas within the CSTO, preparations for the forthcoming meetings of the organization's charter bodies this year,” the ministry said.
