Vladimir Ulakhovich also emphasized economic preferences for the member states, food security, mutual cultural enrichment and international positioning of the SCO.

In turn, the participants of the event congratulated Belarus on becoming a full member of the SCO. "This organization is unique and very important for the whole region, including in terms of economic interaction and communication between the SCO member states: Russia, Belarus, Pakistan and other countries," Ambassador of Pakistan to Hungary Asif Memon said. "In ten days, the SCO heads of government will meet in Islamabad. We expect that this will be another unique opportunity for Pakistan and the SCO member countries to show their commitment to the organization’s goals."
