MOSCOW, 6 February (BelTA) - Yuri Seliverstov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, held a meeting with Botirjon Asadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, BelTA learned from press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
“The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. They particularly highlighted the traditionally friendly ties between Minsk and Tashkent. The two ambassadors jointly pointed to active engagement between their countries in the political, economic, trade, regional, and humanitarian fields,” the press service said.
“Yuri Seliverstov and Botirjon Asadov welcomed the rise in bilateral trade and expressed confidence in strengthening cooperation across the board,” the diplomatic mission added.
