The Wreath of Peace event dedicated to 80 years of peace was held in Grodno on 27 June. Every district of Grodno Oblast made wreaths of special flowers or plants to commemorate the women who served during the Great Patriotic War.
80 wreaths were floated down the Neman River in the name of peace and happy future. The regional event was implemented by the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee and the Belarusian Union of Women.
