On 22 June, the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial hosted a meeting to commemorate the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People. The event began on the Ceremonial Square with a commemorative concert "Four years of a long journey..." After it people laid wreaths and flowers to the Eternal Fire to honor the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland.
