All districts of Vitebsk Oblast participated in the national clean-up day. Participants tidied up military burial sites and memorial complexes, social care facilities, and the grounds of enterprises and organizations. The main activities in Vitebsk took place at the park of the 1000th anniversary of the city, near which construction of the new emblem and flag square is underway. The new square is scheduled to open in a month, on the Day of the National Flag, the National Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
