The nationwide Kupala Night Festival (Alexandria Gathers Friends) opened on 5 July. Tens of thousands of people attended it. This year, the main themes of the festival became the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the unity of the peoples of Belarus and Russia and traditional family values and universal human values.
