A flower and wreath laying ceremony at the memorial to Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters of Vitebsk Oblast took place in Vitebsk on 21 February to mark the upcoming Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of Belarus. Taking part in the event were representatives of the authorities of Vitebsk Oblast and the city of Vitebsk, MPs, veterans of the Armed Forces of Belarus, representatives of the public and the youth of Vitebsk.
