A large-scale exercise for national services of civil defense has been organized in a training area of the Emergencies Ministry in Borisov District, Minsk Oblast on 21 October upon instructions of the head of state. The event gathered top executives and officials of the Council of Ministers, the State Secretariat of the Security Council, various ministries and government agencies, municipal authorities. Participants of the exercise practiced the organization of population evacuation and the organization of basic life support for the injured as well as broad range of rescue work and other urgent work, including in conditions of massive malfunctions of utility services and the power grid.
