On 25 September, Igor Karpenko, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus, reported on the outcomes of Belarus' chairmanship of the CIS Advisory Council of Heads of Electoral Bodies. During its chairmanship Belarus focused on ensuring the electoral sovereignty of participating states, raising legal awareness of citizens and youth in the field of electoral law, and training potential election organizers.
