
Belarusian border guards honored the memory of those who fell in the first battles of the Great Patriotic War. At 4.00 in the morning on 22 June, on the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian people, commemorative concerts, flower ceremony at monuments and memorial places were held across the country. Flowers and wreaths at the Victory Monument in Minsk were laid by Chairman of the State Border Committee Konstantin Molostov and senior official of the committee, cadets of the Border Service Institute, officers of the Minsk garrison units, veterans and the Belarusian BRSM Youth Union members.
