The road and pedestrian bridge across the Pripyat River in Mozyr has been closed for reconstruction for 19 months already. A complex technological process of installing the last two supports and overlaps between them is nearing completion. Pedestrian sidewalks have been made and railings have been installed on significant sections of the new bridge. The new bridge will have an original arch, which will house an observation deck, an elevator shaft from the Mozyr side and unusual illumination at night. The general contractor of the reconstruction is the Gomel branch of bridge construction department No.4 of Mostostroy.
