During his official visit to Azerbaijan, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin laid wreaths at the tomb of Heydar Aliyev, national leader and father of the current president of Azerbaijan, and flowers at the tomb of his wife Zarifa Aliyeva. The Belarusian head of government also visited the Victory Park located on 8 November Avenue. At the entrance to the park there is a memorial monument dedicated to 8 November (Victory Day) and enduring unity. The Belarusian prime minister laid a wreath to this monument, paying tribute to the Azerbaijani people.
