At the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov visited Moscow on 25 November for a working visit to participate in the annual joint meeting of the collegiums of the Russian and Belarusian foreign ministries. Such meetings have been held annually since 2000, alternating between Belarus and Russia, and serve as an effective mechanism for synchronizing the two countries' efforts on the international stage. The parties took stock of the interim results of implementing the decisions of the previous meeting and the program of concerted actions in foreign policy of the states party to the Union State Treaty for 2024-2026.
