On 12 June, the Belarusian Red Cross together with the National Research Center for Transfusion Medicine and Medical Biotechnology organized a large-scale blood donation campaign ahead of the World Blood Donor Day. In Minsk the blood collection point was set up right in the office of the Belarusian Red Cross. Athletes joined the campaign.
