LIWA 2025 combines adrenaline-pumping racing, drifting and dune bashing, alongside live entertainment, family fun and unique cultural moments. All the action takes place under the iconic Tal Moreeb—the UAE’s tallest dune—in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region.

Key events include the Freestyle Drift competition on 13th–14th December, followed by the Buggy Torque Challenge on 15th December, which will see high-speed buggies competing across the dunes. On 19th December, the Liwa Burnout Challenge will showcase engine-roaring burnout contests.

The Liwa Drift Championship will take place on 21st December, featuring pro drivers displaying their drifting skills. On 22nd December, the Bike Drag Racing event will bring high-speed bike races to the desert.

Later in the month, the Monster Jam show will take place on 27th–28th December, featuring the world’s largest monster truck event along with an exclusive Pit Party.

From 30th to 31st December, the Car Stunt Championship will offer jaw-dropping stunt performances by world-class drivers. The Electronic Freestyle Championship on 1st January 2025 will combine motorsports with cutting-edge technology for an electrifying display.

The Moreeb Dune Car Championship will wrap up the festival from 2nd to 4th January, challenging participants to take on the famed dunes of Liwa.

Every evening, festival-goers can enjoy a fireworks display at 8 pm, adding to the festive atmosphere. LIWA 2025 will also feature two new attractions: the Hollywood Circus, which will entertain with acrobats, magicians, and clowns, and the Shams Liwa Ferris Wheel, offering panoramic views of Tal Moreeb and the surrounding desert landscape.
