Archeological exposition opens in Minsk Upper Town

A new exposition entitled as Minsk. The Upper Town. Archeological Museum went on display on 14 March to mark 520 years since Minsk got Magdeburg rights.

The exposition features artifacts, including archeological finds of the 11th-13th centuries, shining a light on the material and spiritual culture of Minsk residents. An artificially created archeological site provides visitors with a unique opportunity to see the development of the city from the 11th to the 19th centuries.

The importance of the Upper Town in the development of Minsk is demonstrated through the residents' everyday life and their main activities. The exposition features shopping stalls, a shoemaker's workshop, a potter's shop.
