MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Small and medium-sized businesses account for over 36% of Minsk’s tax revenues, the Minsk City Executive Committee told BelTA following a meeting of the entrepreneurship development council.

The Minsk City Executive Committee stressed that the top priority is to support domestic Belarusian manufacturers. Today, Minsk is home to 107,700 small and medium-sized enterprises. Their share in the city’s tax revenue exceeds 36%.

The meeting addressed support for manufacturers of import-substituting products in procurement procedures and issues of notarization of foreign documents.

“We will consider making the necessary amendments to the regulatory legal acts to assure investors of support in Belarus,” Minsk First Vice Mayor Nadezhda Lazarevich said. The necessity of introducing amendments will be worked out with the relevant ministries.
