MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – Keeping the domestic demand for oil products satisfied is a top priority for the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim. The possibility of exporting more oil products to Ukraine will depend on the profit margin, the Belneftekhim press service told BelTA.
As they distribute their output, Belarusian oil refineries keep in mind the need to satisfy the domestic demand above all else. As for exporting the remaining oil products, these decisions are made depending on the profit margin on specific markets and the need to honor the already signed contracts.
Belneftekhim enterprises import oil products from Russia only for the sake of processing them using their own facilities – in a routine manner and in strict compliance with intergovernmental agreements.
It has been reported earlier that Russia intends to ban the export of Russian oil and oil products to Ukraine.
