Parliamentary hearing on investment climate in Belarus scheduled for 14 November

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – The House of Representatives will conduct parliamentary hearing to discuss legal and practical aspects of improving the investment climate in Belarus on 14 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the lower house of the Belarusian Parliament.

The latest results of the government investment policy and advanced international experience will be presented during the hearing. “The aim is to outline, on the basis of a range of findings and opinions of representatives of the government, the business community and international experts, promising areas to develop and improve the legislation to support economic activities and to draw up legislative proposals aimed at improving the business environment and increasing investment activity,” the press service said.

Plans are in place to work out recommendations for the parliament, the government, and other national and local government bodies.

Taking part in the parliamentary hearing will be members of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, heads of national and local government bodies, representatives of international organizations, investors, leading legal firms and experts.
