MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) - Taras Murog, whose appointment as Director General of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) was approved by the head of state, presented his vision for the plant's short- and long-term development to the media on 20 November, BelTA has learned.
“The answer is simple, but its implementation is quite complicated. The president has outlined all the key components: quality, new models, and an aggressive marketing policy,” Taras Murog said.
When asked about marketing, the new MTZ director general cited the price and reliability of the plant's machinery as its key advantages. Furthermore, he emphasized that the MTZ brand itself is already a brand name in its own right.
“Spare parts, service schemes... We must in no way fall behind our Eastern neighbors, the Chinese. In some areas, we must offer a better product. That is, we must be faster, cheaper, and more reliable,” Taras Murog said.
