MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) - Minsk Oblast and Russia’s Ulyanovsk Oblast intend to strengthen cooperation in mechanical engineering. Deepening industrial cooperation between the regions is one of the goals of the visit to Russia by Minsk Oblast Governor Aleksei Kushnarenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk Oblast executive committee.
Aleksei Kushnarenko is visiting Ulyanovsk Oblast. The key purpose of the trip is to develop cooperation, including in mechanical engineering.
Speaking about cooperation with the Russian region, the governor emphasized the importance of strengthening friendly ties, exchanging experience, and seeking new opportunities for joint development of production and innovative projects. “I am confident that open dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and practical solutions will serve as the foundation for further expansion of partnership relations and the implementation of significant joint initiatives,” Aleksei Kushnarenko stressed.
Ulyanovsk Oblast is ready to offer Minsk Oblast a range of competitive solutions, such as comprehensive digitalization of production, the introduction of automation systems, the supply of reliable electrical equipment, and more.
As part of the trip, Aleksei Kushnarenko toured the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, where he examined production, which has a capacity of about 95,000 vehicles per year.
