“Healthcare is a key [cooperation] area. Investment projects in the pharmaceutical sector are being implemented in Belarus with Indian capital and technology. Joint production of modern medicines is an important and promising direction of bilateral cooperation. We must also work closely to ensure that more Indian medical students study in Belarus,” Aleksandr Khodzhayev stressed.
The minister noted that practical cooperation has been established in science and technology. In particular, both parties are working to coordinate new research projects to be implemented under joint programs.
In addition, Belarus and India are actively developing cultural ties, which serve as a solid foundation for building effective dialogue between the peoples of both countries. The Belarusian side hopes to resume the practice of holding cultural days of the two nations.
“We see great prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation. Our countries have many topics to discuss. Belarus is looking forward to a visit from the Indian prime minister, which will open a new chapter in Belarus-India relations. Belarus and India have always maintained openness, mutual trust, and support in their relations. I am confident we will continue to work this way in the future,” Aleksandr Khodzhayev concluded.
